Finally, on the 4th of December 2010: the Time Warp is coming to Holland again and is celebrating its first anniversary on Dutch ground. For the third time the German Techno-Event is visiting its neighbour, where the special Time Warp atmosphere, the incomparable moments and the unique emotions of the visitors found so many friends.
Unforgettable is the closing set by Karotte 2009 which was frenetically celebrated by the guests as well as the legendary Arpiar-Session on the 10th floor of the Maassilo 2008.
2010 is going to be much more than a remake of past events, we are focussing on the future. Apart from “new faces” in the line-up, we have also chosen a new venue for our visitors.
The Sporthallen Zuid in Amsterdam offers more space and therefore gives us more room for spectacular decoration and sophisticated lightshows. Thousands of visitors from all over Europe, four floors, the perfect sound system – nothing gets in the way of the ultimate Time Warp feeling in Amsterdam.
Again, we managed to bring together international Top-DJs and Dutch artists and talents, which form a top-class line-up.
Sven Väth will be joined by top acts such as the Brazilian high-flyer Gui Boratto or the underground act Sandwell District, existing of the sound specialists Function and Regis. Needless to say that in 2010 the Netherlands will be represented by two Dutch techno pioneers, Speedy J and Steve Rachmad. Friends of eccentric electronic music can look forward to two absolute rare live-acts: Laurent Garnier will be performing with his unique live project L.B.S., whereas Luke Slater will be reactivating his Alter Ego Planetary Assault Systems to pamper us with first class puristic Techno.
Whether straight Techno-Beats, fat synthriffs or reduced percussions, as always there is an interesting mix of different influences and techniques within the musical repertoire of Time Warp Holland.
After the successful start in 2008 and the sold out Festival in 2009, Time Warp Holland is going to be a success again.
Time Warp Holland 2010, already a mandatory date for all Technofans, not only in the Netherlands.
